IOC, BPCL enter All India Obaidullah Khan Gold Cup Hockey

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) and BPCL have made it to the semifinals of the All India Obaidullah Khan Gold Cup Hockey tournament, winning their respective quarterfinal matches at the Aishbagh Stadium in Bhopal. In the third quarter final played last evening, Indian Oil Corporation routed Indian Railway 4-1. Deepak Thakur scored two goals for IOC. Kothajit Singh of IOC was declared player of the match. In the fourth and last quarter final, BPCL defeated Naamdhari Eleven 3-1. Sher Singh bagged the player of the match title. Both the semifinals of the tournament will be played on Monday. While Air India will take on IOC, BPCL will clash with ONGC.
