The Indian Olympic Association would provide financial support to all Indian medal winners in Delhi Commonwealth Games. It was announced on Wednesday morning by the Association chairman Suresh Kalmadi while talking to media persons. He said amount to be given to the medal winner athletes will be declared later on. Addressing a joint press conference Micheal Fennel President Commonwealth Games Federation said 16 new games and 2 world records have also been set up in different events including swimming, cycling, weightlifting, shooting and athletics during last three days. Mr. Kalmadi informed one lakh 25 thousand tickets were sold yesterday for different events. He said all tickets for the final matches of Hockey and badminton events and hundred percent tickets for swimming events have also been sold out.
