The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has organised an official send-off event for the Indian athletes participating in the Rio Games beginning 5th of next month. Tennis star Sania Mirza, wrestlers Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Vinod Tomar, gymnast Dipa Karmakar and young table tennis star Manika Batra were among those who attended the ceremony. Actor Salman Khan and music composer AR Rahman, the Goodwill Ambassadors of the Indian contingent for the Games, met the Indian athletes at an event. India will be fielding over 100 athletes at the Games this time.
