Central Bureau of Investigation today questioned Karti Chidambaram, the son of former Union Minister P Chidambaram, in a case related to alleged irregularities in Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearance to INX Media.<br/><br/>Karti was questioned for around eight hours at CBI headquarters in New Delhi and was asked to again appear before it on 28th of this month.<br/><br/>Earlier, the Supreme Court had directed Karti to appear before the investigating agency and carry with him all the necessary documents in his defence keeping in mind the allegations in the FIR.<br/><br/>In May, an FIR was registered by the CBI against Karti and INX Media along with eight others for alleged irregularities in FIPB clearance for receiving FDI in 2007 when P Chidambaram was the Finance Minister.
