In Varanasi, investigations are on by Forensic Experts who arrived from Delhi to examine the nature of explosive material used in Tuesday's bomb blast. A girl child wad killed and 38 persons were injured in the explosion. The State Addl. Director General Police, Law and Order, Mr. Brij Lal said, search continues to recover vital clues including any circuit of the bomb which could indicate the method of detonation used. He said a team from the Forensic Laboratory in Agra is already on the job and a report in expected by this evening. The Blast site at the Sheetla Ghat remains virtually sealed. Intelligence Bureau Forensic Experts are making frequent visits to gather samples from the site. The National Investigating Agency and Special Task Force of the state are also camping in Varanasi hunting for clues into the bomb blast. Divers are also being used to search for detonators of the improvised explosive device that could have fallen into the river Ganga following the blast. AIR correspondent reports Intelligence agencies are examining the telephone calls just before and after the blast and also studying the movement of suspects close to terrorist’s organisations.
