<br/>In West Bengal, International Mother's Language Day is being celebrated in a befitting manner. On this occasion, the main function was held at Petrapole and Banepole border point along Indo-Bangladesh border this morning. The State Ministers, Mr. Abdur Razzak Mollah and Mrs. Rekha Goswami and member of National Assembly of Bangladesh, Sheikh Asiruddin and distinguished persons paid floral tributes to the language martyrs. In Kolkata, Bhasa Sahid Smarak Samiti organised a special programme to commemmorate the day and spreading of Bengali language. Bangla songs, poems and recitations are main attractions of the programme.
