In Punjab, State Special operation cell Amritsar today achieved a major break through with the arrest of an international smuggler with a huge consignment of Heroin at Amritsar. Quoting P.K.Rai SSP incharge Narcotics cell, our Amritsar correspondent reports that a Nigerian student from Delhi was held with eight kilogram of Heroin near the Railway station. He was residing in New Delhi since 2004 on a student visa. The recovered consignment of Heroin was to be routed to different countries through different channels. BSF had also recovered 5.5 kilogram heroin and killed a smuggler on Tuesday on the border with Pakistan.
