Today is International Universal Health Coverage Day. This Day is observed on the 12th of December every year to raise awareness of the need for strong and resilient health systems and universal health coverage with multi-stakeholder partners. Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan presided over Universal Health Coverage Day Celebrations via video conferencing in Delhi. He said in  view of the global pandemic, the theme of this year is Health For All – Protect Everyone. He said there is a need to invest in health systems that protect everybody. He said COVID 19 has greatly magnified the need for building resilient healthcare systems.
