International Solar Alliance to become treaty-based international intergovernmental organization today

International Solar Alliance, ISA will become a treaty-based international intergovernmental organization today. The ISA, India's brainchild was launched jointly by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then President of France, Fran'ois Hollande, on the side lines of the CoP21 at Paris in November 2015. It will be a major international body headquartered in India.<br/>'<br/>In an exclusive interview to All India Radio, Interim Director General of the ISA, Upendra Tripathy said, creation of International Solar Alliance catches a lot of attention of the banking sector. He added that out of 250 billion dollars investment which came to renewable energy sector, solar energy itself attracted 150 billion dollars.
