International Radio Fair 'Outreach International Radio Fair-2016' will begin in Bhubaneswar today

The two-day annual International Radio Fair 'Outreach International Radio Fair-2016' will begin from today in Bhubaneswar. The Radio Fair event, which is first of its kind in India, will start on the occasion of World Radio Day. The event will focus on role of Radio in emergencies and disaster. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and many other Radio journalists are scheduled to attend the event. <br/><br/>Overseas broadcasters, All India Radio, private FMs, community Radio and Internet Radio stations will participate in the event. Many Radio stations from across the country will join the fair. A release issued by the Fair organiser said, the objective of the event is also to sensitize station owners, executives and broadcasters about gender related policies and strategies for Radio.
