The A two-day international conference on "Global Carbon Budget and Climate Change" will begin in Mumbai this morning. The conference is intended to discuss the critical question of "equity," a fundamental issue in climate change talks from the perspective of carbon budgets. The conference will be inaugurated by Union Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh. The Minister is also expected to closely participate in the discussions. The conference is been organised by Mumbai-based Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) with support of the environment ministry. <br/>
