<br/>Countries attending an international donors conference at the United Nations in New York have pledged nearly 10 billion dollars to help rebuild Haiti following the devastating earthquake in January. <br/><br/>The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said the figure far exceeded the exected target. More than 200,000 people died in the earthquake.<br/><br/>The US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who co-chaired the conference said an impressive sum has been pledged.
