<span style="color: #222222;">Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said, the overall internal security scenario in the country has vastly improved during the last four years. He said, there has been a significant improvement in the law and order situation, particularly in the North Eastern region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing a Vijay Diwas function in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, the Left Wing Extremism affected districts have come down from 90 to just about 12 while there has been an 80 per cent improvement in insurgency in the North East. Mr Singh said, this was due to the better coordination between Indian Army, Para-military forces and other stakeholders. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also said, the Boarder Security Forces has been given full freedom to retaliate effectively to ceasefire violations from Pakistan. Mr Singh said, martyrs like Chandrasekhar Azad and Bhagat Singh were all driven by passionate patriotism. Stating that the Society has to stand up with the Veterans today, the Home Minister said, an action plan needs to be framed to preserve individual honour and nation's integrity among the citizens. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He stressed the need for igniting patriotism among the youth and said, they should know about the sacrifices and valour of the jawans of the armed forces.</span><br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Referring to Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Singh reiterated that Kashmir is an integral part of India and it will remain for ever. Paying tributes to the martyrs of 1971 Indo-Pak war, the Home Minister said, the valour of the Indian armed forces jawans changed the geography of Pakistan. He said, the Indian Army has since emerged as a professional model before the world. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Singh said, the government approved the One-Rank One-Pension to the ex-servicemen as it was their right.</span><br />
