The Working Group on Agricultural production has recommended that interest on farm loans should not exceed four per cent. The Group which submitted its report to the Prime Minister in New Delhion Wednesday, has also suggested that Minimum Support Price should be fixed at 50 percent higher than the actual cost of cultivation. The group headed by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda constituted in April this year has also made over 150 specific recommendations on various issues related to crop production.
