The Visakhapatnam Marine Police has begun using the newly- inducted fast interceptor boats while patrolling along the Vizag coastline in Bay of Bengal.Visakhapatnam Marine Police DIG N Chandra Mouli said that the patrolling will be done in coordination with the Indian Navy and Coast Guard.He said five interceptor boats were inducted a fortnight ago into the marine police stations of Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam districts of Andhra Pradesh as part of Coastal Security Scheme launched by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
