A six member inter-ministerial team that arrived in Bengaluru yesterday is visiting the flood and landslide affected areas in Kalburgi, Vijayapura and Udupi today. The team is assessing the damages caused during September and October when the state witnessed 50 days long rainy days. The team had met the Chief Minister and senior officials of the state Government yesterday.<br />''<br />''They were informed that the State Government has disbursed input subsidy of 551.14 Crore rupees to 7.12 lakh farmers and a sum of 1320.48 crore rupees has been committed for flood relief, repair and reconstruction, despite severe financial constraints. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIR Bengaluru Correspondent reports that the State government is providing financial assistance of 5 lakhs for completely damaged houses,. 3 lakhs for severely damaged houses and 50,000 rupees for partially damaged houses, which is significantly higher than SDRF norms and is borne by State funds. The Central Government has released 577.84 crore rupees from NDRF for the flood relief and has deputed the second inter-ministerial team now. During September-October the state government has estimated crop loss of 1629.24 crore rupees as per SDRF norms. Due to the natural calamity, 34,794 houses, 16,469 kms of roads, 1326 culverts and bridges, 3937 government buildings were damaged. </span><br />
