The five-member inter-ministerial team of the central government has reached Telangana as part of its visit to assess the extent of damage due to heavy rains and floods in Hyderabad and other parts of the state. <br />''<br />''It may be recalled that Hyderabad city witnessed the highest rainfall in the past 100 years on 13th and 14th of this month. Several parts of the state also suffered huge losses due to heavy rains and floods.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Inter-ministerial team headed by Joint Secretary, Praveen Vasista has met the senior officials of the state government at the secretariat in Hyderabad a short while ago. <br />''<br />''The team has R B Kaul from Finance Ministry, K Manoharan from the Agriculture Ministry, S K Kushawaha from the Road Transport and Highways and one more senior official from Jala Shakti Ministry as members. The team will visit rain affected districts and also flood affected areas in Hyderabad during next 2 days.</span>
