The government has constituted an inter-ministerial group to review the provisions of the draft Bill on ‘Protection of Women’ against sexual harassment at workplace. According to a release from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the group has been asked to examine and fine tune the draft Bill by this month, so that the Bill can be finalized as early as possible for further action.<br/><br/>The Ministry in consultation with the National Commission for Women and other stake holders, has prepared a draft Bill, which seeks to cover students, research scholars besides those working in unorganized sector to check sexual harassment at work place.
