Northern India is in the grip of intense cold wave condition. Foggy conditions prevailed in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand.<br/>Most parts of Jammu and Kashmir continued to reel under severe cold as Leh and Kargil districts were freezing at minus 19 degrees Celsius. Day temperature dipped to minus 2 in Leh and minus 4 in Kargil. In Kashmir valley, the famous hill resort of Pahalgam was the coldest place with minus 7.6 degrees celcius. AIR reporting from Pahalgam said, tourists from different parts of India and abroad are enjoying 'Chilai Kalan' '40 days spell of winter' with lots of energy and enthusiasm. In the plains of Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts, the minimum temperature is ranging between one to five degree Celsius. <br/>In Punjab, Adampur, near Jalandhar remained the coldest with 0.8 degree Celsius forcing people to be wrapped up in warms. The holy city, Amritsar has recorded the temperature at 1 degree Celsius, on Saturday morning. Due to early morning and late night fog, fatal accidents are also occurring at many places in Punjab.<br/>
