<span style="color: #222222;">Intense cold wave conditions continue to grip Odisha with 15 places in the state recording minimum temperature below 10 degrees Celsius, today. The nail-biting cold has brought normal life to halt. Sonepur town of western Odisha wast the coldest place in the state with 3.4 degrees. Mild frost was witnessed in various areas of Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Bargarh and Kandhamal districts. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Government has directed District Collectors to be on and ensure that people are protected from the biting cold. Due to drop in mercury many birds and fish were found dead in several parts of the state, particularly in the high-altitude areas. Bhubaneswar Met office said severe cold wave conditions would continue for the next 48 hours and issued yellow warnings for several areas.</span><br />
