The much-awaited Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Attari and Wagah border became functional with the shifting of passenger terminal to the newly built post.

Deputy Commissioner Indian Customs at Attari border R K Duggal said that the entire cargo traffic would also be shifted to newly built ICP from today so that by April 13 it becomes fully functional.

He said, these steps would boost import- export of vegetables, livestock and yarn between India and Pakistan.
