International Children Broadcasting Day is being celebrated by the electronic media across the country today. The day is celebrated on the first Sunday of March every year to give voice to Children. Theme of this year's Children Broadcasting day has been declared “Gender Equality” by UNICEF. Several Stations of All India Radio today handed over microphone to the young ones to voice their issues. All India Radio, Gorakhpur today organised a concert to celebrate the day in which children of various age groups presented Drama, Cultural Programmes and exhibited their skills in various forms. I talked to some of them: Kesa how you are going to celebrate the day? “Well, I am playing role of Goddess Saraswati and also anchoring the programme. I am very much excited about it.” It is a token gesture by the electronic media to listen to the children and make the people aware of their problems.
