Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik, today said a well institutionalized Homeopathic system will play a crucial role in public health delivery system.<br/>'<br/>Inaugurating National Convention on World Homeopathy Day(WHD) Mr. Shripad Naik said, Homeopathy has not fallen short of scientific evidence in curing chronic and life style diseases. A well integrated system of Homeopathy with the mainstream medicine has an immediate role to play in the country's health system.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Ministry of AYUSH is leaving no stone unturned in popularizing the alternative systems of medicine. The ministry have entered into Agreements and MoUs with 27 countries to establish AYUSH chairs and AYUSH information cells there. <br/><br/><br/>The Ministry had also instituted young scientist award and Life time achievement awards to recognize the exemplary accomplishment in the field. Delegates and researchers from across the country and abroad are participating in the two day national convention on WHD which began yesterday.
