INS Visakhapatnam is a P15B stealth-guided missile destroyer indigenously designed by the Indian Navy.<br />''<br />''A report<br />''Speaking on the occasion, the Defense minister Rajnath Singh said Indian Navy's role is very important as India is a part of the Indo-Pacific route. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policy of SAGAR embodies the values that open up every opportunity to build India into an indigenous ship-building hub. The Minister also appreciated the self-reliance efforts of the Indian Navy. He said the Navy's order of 39 of the 41 ships and submarines from Indian shipyards is a testament to their commitment towards achieving 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'.</span><br />
