As part of Samudra setu program under Vande Bharat mission, the naval ship, INS Jalaswa arrived at Cochin Port today at 12 p.m. carrying 588 persons evacuated from Maldives. The group of expatriates from Maldives included 497 males, 70 females including 6 pregnant women and 21 children.<br />''  <br />'' Passengers showing covid-19 symptoms were disembarked first followed by others in small groups.The Medical screening of passengers are being carried out by Port Health Organisation.
