Indian medium-pacer Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting from 2nd of next month, due to an injury in the right toe. According to the national cricket board, Maharashtra medium-pacer Dhawal Kulkarni has replaced Shami in the 15-member Indian squad. While Shami has the experience of 36 ODIs in which the 24-year-old has taken 68 wickets, Kulkarni is still looking for his first scalp in the format.
