Inflow of foreign aid to combat COVID continues to be swiftly cleared and sent to States, UTs: Health Ministry

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Health Ministry has said that the Inflow of foreign aid to combat COVID continues to be swiftly cleared and sent to States and Union Territories.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Centre has been receiving international donations and aid of COVID-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since 27th of last month from different countries and organisations to augment its efforts in fighting the unprecedented surge of cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, through a streamlined and systematic mechanism, various Ministries and Departments of Government of India have seamlessly collaborated for expeditiously delivering the incoming global aid to States and UTs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry said, 10,953 Oxygen Concentrators, over 13 thousand Oxygen Cylinders, 19 Oxygen Generation Plants, six thousand 835 ventilators and around five lakh Remdesivir vials have been delivered or dispatched through road and air, from 27th April to 14th May this year.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A dedicated Coordination Cell has been created in the Union Health Ministry to coordinate the receipt and allocation of foreign COVID relief material as grants, aid and donations. </span><br />''  <br />
