Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has said that inflation will stabilise somewhere around 6.5 percent to 7 percent in due course of time. He cautioned people not to expect inflation to come down drastically to 4 to 4.5 per cent. Speaking to media on Monday at New Delhi after chairing a meeting of full Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India after the budget presentation, Mr. Mukherjee said since the economy is passing through a difficult time, this phase can collectively overcome . Replying to a question, the Finance Minister said that he hoped that three to four important financial bills could be passed in the next session of Parliament, as the Parliamemtary Standng Committe is doing good work. He also praised the Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Yashwant Sinha for consistent hard work to give final shapes to those bills.
