Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee says, inflation could be 6 to 7 percent range in the coming days. Addressing a function in Kolkata today he said that the growth will be hampered if it falls below 6 to 7 percent. He hoped that, the Reserve Bank will keep this in view while making policy rates formulation. The Finance Minister said that, the inflation and food inflation were very high for nearly last two years and he had taken corrective measures as these figures are not desirable. In reference to food and fertilizer subsidies Mukherjee said that, it will be selective as it was stated in the Budget for 2012-13.
