Rising prices of essential commodities, threat of terrorism and Telangana issue are likely to be at the centre of discussions in the Congress Working Committee that began celebrations in New Delhi this morning.<br/><br/>The meeting being chaired by the Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi will also review the current political situation and is expected to take stock of the orgnisational elections.<br/><br/>The delebrations at the highest policy making body of the ruling party are important as Union Budget for the next fiscal will be presented later this month. The Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee is expected to hold discussions with senior party leaders as a part of the exercise of pre Budget consultations.<br/><br/>The CWC is taking place ahead of the Chief Minister's conference convened by the Prime Minister to prepare a roadmap for dealing with the price rise issue apart from discussing the internal security situation in the country. All top Congress leaders are present in the meeting.
