In Jammu and Kashmir, an infiltration bid was foiled by BSF jawans in Jammu District by gunning down one intruder. According to official sources, the intrusion bid was foiled by BSF jawans in Pargwal sector of Akhnoor in Jammu Division.BSF jawans deployed along the International Border noticed some suspicions movement in Sidhrva area of Pargwal at about 10 p.m. last night. At the same time Pakistani rangers restored to heavy firing violating ceasefire on the International Border in an attempt to facilitate the intrusion . BSF Jawans retaliated and the exchange of firing continued till 7 a.m. this morning in which one intruder was shot dead..No loss of life or property was reported from Indian side.
