In West Bengal, three CRPF jawans were killed in a clash at Shilapara camp in Lalgarh of West Midnapore district last night. Inspector General of Police, Western range Mr. Gangeswar Singh told AIR that the clash took place between two groups of CRPF jawans in the evening. Two jawans were shot at by another member of the troop. Later, he also killed himself by his service revolver. The cause of the clash is not known yet. AIR correspondent reports that tension prevails in the area. Senior district police officials have rushed to the spot. The CRPF camp was set up in the area to tackle Maoist activities in Lalgarh and adjoining region.
