India were chasing a victory target of 287 runs, after dismissing the hosts for 258 in their second innings. At stumps, Cheteshwar Pujara on 11 and Parthiv Patel on 5 were at the crease. The batsmen out in the Indian second innings were: Murali Vijay for Nine, Lokesh Rahul – 4, and skipper Virat Kohli for 5. On the fifth and final day tomorrow, India need a further 252 runs for a win, with seven wickets in hand. The scores: South Africa- 335 and 258 India – 307 and 35 for 3. South Africa are leading the three-Test series One-nil after winning the first Test played at Cape Town by 72 runs.
