INDvENG, 5 th Test: England set victory target of 464 runs for India

England set a victory target of 464 runs for India after declaring their second innings at 423 for 8 in the fifth and final Cricket Test at the Oval in London yesterday. England had a lead of 40 runs from 1st innings . Chasing the target, India were 58 for 3 at stumps on the 4th Day.

To win the test, the visitors either have to score 406 more runs or have to play the entire day today for a draw. India had a bad start as they lost early wickets with Virat Kohli and Pujara scoring duck. Shikhar Dhawan just scored 1 run.

Earlier, Alastair Cook and Joe Root scored centuries each enabling the host to post a mammoth total on score board. Cook became only the fifth batsman in Test cricket history to score hundreds in his first and last Tests.

England have already taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
