Industry Dept, SIDBI enters into MoU to encourage MSME sector in Gujarat

<span style="color: #222222;">In Gujarat, Industry Department and the Small Industries Development Bank of India- SIDBI entered into a MoU to encourage the MSME sector in the State. The MoU was signed by Additional Chief Secretary for Industry and Mines M.K. Das and SIDBI Dy. M D Vasantharao Satya Venkata Rao at Gandhinagar last evening. Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the state government is committed to encourage the MSME sector.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state government has already announced Rs.768 crore Atmanirbhar package as part of slew of incentives to the MSME sector under the new Industrial Policy 2020. He expressed the confidence that over 35 lakh MSME units, which are providing maximum jobs in Gujarat, would continue to get active support and guidance from SIDBI.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that the MoU with SIDBI is intended to provide financial assistance, capital subsidy, interest subsidy, patent assistance, technology transfer and acquisition, innovation to provide financial assistance, market support, innovation, technology transfer and build capacity to compete in the global market.</span><br />
