Industry bodies have welcomed the budget, terming it progressive, growth oriented and inclusive.Hailing the budget, CII President Ajay Sriram said the Finance Minister has genuinely attempted to make it inclusive for every citizen by focusing on the social side-housing, roads, solar power and senior secondary schools.FICCI General Secretary A Didar Singh said the budget focuses towards economy, common man and tax reform.Vice President of ASSOCHAM Sandeep Jajodia said that it is a holistic budget which touches all sections of society.He said the government has tried its best to allocate lots of funds for infrastructure sector which is very encouraging.
