The Confederation of Indian Industry has welcomed the Railway Budget. Talking to AIR, President Designate of the industry body, Sumit Mazumder said, it is a well rounded budget which covers a lot of areas like safety, cleanliness and high speed trains. He said, for the first time, Railways have brought innovation and incubation which will yield good results in future.Reacting on the budget, Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries, FICCI Chairman Siddharth Birla said, it was an attempt to make a good budget in less time. He said, Foreign Direct Investment and Public Private Partnership will help Railways in the future. He said, use of modern technology will enhance the customer services.
