Defending champion Saina Nehwal defeated Japan's Eriko Hirose 21-9, 21-10, to storm into the final of the Indonesian Open Super Series badminton tournament in Jakarta today. Saina pocketed the opening game in just 12 minutes and finished the match in 27 minutes. The world number three Saina will now face another Japanese Sayaka Sato, who defeated local qualifier Ana Rovita in the other semifinal.
