Indonesia raises Anak Krakatau volcano threat level

<span style="color: #222222;">In Indonesia, the danger level for Anak Krakatau volcano has been raised to the second-highest level possible, after a series of eruptions. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All flights around the volcano have been rerouted and a 5 km exclusion zone has also been imposed. Local people and tourists have been prohibited from carrying out activities within this radius.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Last week, the volcano triggered a tsunami which killed hundreds of people.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Indonesia's disaster management agency (BNPB) said, the volcanic activity of Anak Krakatau continues to increase. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a press statement, BNPB said, the level had been raised from level two to three because of the increased volcanic activity.</span><br />''
