Indonesia Open: India's K Srikanth to take on compatriot Lakshya Sen in pre-quarterfinals on Thursday

In the Indonesia Open Badminton tournament, Lakshya Sen will face compatriot Kidambi Srikanth at 7.30 on Thursday morning while HS Prannoy will lock horns with Hong Kong's Angus Ng Ka Long in the second-round matches in Jakarta.
 
World number 20 Lakshya Sen stormed into the second round of men's singles after defeating former Asian champion and 8th-seeded Lee Zii Jia 21-17, 21-13. On the other hand, world number 22 Srikanth defeated China's Lu Guang Zu 21-13, 21-19 to enter the second round.
 
Another Indian Shuttler Priyanshu Rajawat also progressed on account of a walkover from world No 3 Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand to seal his place in the next round.
 
In the women's singles, the two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu will lock horns with Taiwan's Tai Tzu-Ying in the Round of 16 at 7.30 am tomorrow. Sindhu defeated Gregoria Mariska in the first round yesterday.
