Indonesian police say they have arrested top terrorist suspect Abu Tholut, regarded as one of the most dangerous Islamist extremists in the country. Police said 49-year-old Tholut, also known as Mustofa, was arrested yesterday at his home in Central Java's Kudus district. Tholut is accused of helping set up a terror network, plotting attacks on foreigners at luxury hotels in Jakarta, and plotting to assassinate several high-profile officials, including Indonesia's president.
