The largest ever joint ground combat exercises of India and United States known as Yuddha Abhyas came to an end today at Pabina field firing range in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. The exercise which started on 12th of this month, aimed at sharing experiences between the two countries' armed forces in peace keeping operation and humanitarian work during the disaster relief situation. Over 300 US army men including 45 officers and mechanised infantry battalion of the Indian Army jointly participated in the training exercises. Addressing a joint press conference with Lt. General Benjamin Mixon, Lt.General A.S.Sekhon told the exercise is purely for the training purposes.
