Indo-Saudi Joint Commission meet today

The eighth meeting of the Indo-Saudi Joint Commission is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arab today. The Indian delegation is led by Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee while the Saudi side is headed by Commerce and Industry Minister Abdullah bin Ahmad Zainal Alireza in the meeting. <br/>The Deputy Chief of mission of Indian Embassy in Riyadh Rajiv Sahare told AIR correspondent Dhirendra Ojha that the follow-up to the historic Delhi Declaration, which was signed during King Abdullah’s visit to India in January 2006, is an important agenda item for discussion. He added that potential areas which have been identified for cooperation between the two countries include trade, Commerce, investment, Agriculture, education, and consular issues. He said that agreed minutes will be signed by both sides at the end of the meeting.<br/>
