Indo-Russian bilateral trade target to be doubled by 2015

India Russia decided to take their bilateral trade volume to 20 billion US dollar by 2015 which currently stands at 10 billion.New Delhi and Moscow today signed several pacts including Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Nuclear Energy, Space Technology, Defence, Hydrocarbons, Power, Banking, Chemical, Petrochemical, fertilizer and pharmaceutical, Information Technology, Science and Technology and Innovation, Electoral process and Visa facilitation, among others. The agreements were signed following delegation level talks between the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and the visiting Russian President Dmitri Medvedev in New Delhi.
