Indo-Pak trade through the integrated check post at the Attari border in Amritsar resumed yesterday after the porters called off the strike. <br/><br/>Over 1200 porters had gone on strike five days ago laying claim on dala money which is a token amount taken to unload boxes.<br/><br/>They were complaining that this amount was wrongly being paid to the clearing house agents. In a meeting yesterday it was decided to do away with the dala money. <br/><br/>Due to strike over 250 trucks carrying cement, gypsum , dry dates and dry fruits were stranded on the Pakistani side. <br/><br/>Similarly goods meant for export were also stranded on the Indian side resulting losses to the traders.
