Indo- Pak talks aim at reducing trust deficit: Krishna

<br/>The External Affairs Minister S M Krishna today said one should not pre-judge the outcome of the new initiative for talks between India and Pakistan. He elaborated that the talks are primarily aimed at reducing the trust deficit between the two neighbours. He was speaking on the sidelines of the All India Annual Conference for Haj in New Delhi today. <br/><br/>When asked about China's attempt to build a rail link with Pakistan through Karakoram, Mr.Krishna said, New Delhi is closely watching the situation. He however said that he had not the chance to discuss the issue with the National security advisor Shiv Shankar Menon who visited China as Prime Minister's emissary. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister is traveling to Pakistan next week to hold discussions with his counterpart on ahost of issues. The ground for the ministerial level talks was prepared in the foreign secretary level talks in Islamabad last month.
