Indo-Pak Indus Waters Treaty talks held in spirit of goodwill, cooperation: WB

The World Bank said, the talks between Indian and Pakistani officials over the Indus Waters Treaty took place in a spirit of goodwill and cooperation. <br/><br/>The World Bank in a brief statement issued said, the two parties have agreed to reconvene in September in Washington for continued discussions over the issue.<br/>'<br/>Earlier, the World Bank had assured Indian Ambassador to the US Navtej Sarna for its continued neutrality and impartiality in helping the parties to find and amicable way forward. <br/><br/>The two countries last held talks over the two projects in March this year during the meeting of the Permanent Indus Commission in Pakistan.<br/><br/>
