Indo- Pak FS level talks to be held on Thursday

The Foreign Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan will be held in New Delhi on Thursday. New Delhi has already said that the central and focal point of discussions will be terrorism emanating from the Pakistani soil. Pending issues related to the 26/11 terror attack investigations in Pakistan will be raised by the Indian side. <br/><br/>Ahead of the talks, India's Foreign Secretary Ms. Nirupama Rao has said effective action against terror groups by Pakistani government is an absolute must. She said that India has also consistently maintained that Pakistan should bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai terrorist attack to justice expeditiously and in a transparent manner. <br/><br/>It should act decisively to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism on its territory. She said that India has taken the initiative for the talks and has expressed the hope that serious and responsive discussions will take place to address issues of concern between the two sides. The beheading of two sikh businessmen in Peshavar is also likely to be raised at the talks.
