The Foreign Secretaries of India and Pakistan are now holding discussions at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi to prepare the agenda for the ministerial level meeting tomorrow. Government sources said, that they will recommend steps to ease travel and enhance trade as well as reduce the trust deficit between the two countries. The foreign secretary Ms. Nirupama Rao and her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir will also consider the possibility of adding more subjects to the ongoing dialogue process to widen its scope. Enhancing people to people contact and cooperation on humanitarian issues will also come up for discussion. Ahead of the foreign ministerial level meeting, the secretaries in the ministries of defence, commerce, home, water resources and surveyor general's level were held. During the last foreign secretary's meeting the two sides discussed peace and security, cross LoC Confidence building measures and the progress of the trial in the Mumbai blasts in November, 2008.A five member Pakistani delegation headed by foreign secretary Salman Bashir arrived in New Delhi on Monday evening.ISI's link with Kashmir separatism will also come up in the talks. Pakistan Foreign Minister Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar is arriving in New Delhi this afternoon for the meeting.
