Indo-Canada nuclear deal will have far reaching impact: Congress

Hailing the signing of the Indo- Canada nuclear deal, Congress today said it reflects India's increasing acceptance as a responsible member of the International Nuclear Order. Talking to media persons in New Delhi, party spokesman, Manish Tiwari said that the nuclear deal will have a far reaching impact. He expressed hope that a nuclear agreement with Australia will be possible subject to it's realization of the changing world geo-political order.<br/> <br/>Replying to a question on the recent deregulation of fuel prices, he said there is a need to implement the provisions of the Petrol and Natural Gas Regulatory Board Act of 2006 in letter and spirit. Calling for the establishment of an independent regulatory board for fuel prices, he said that regulation is not possible as more than 70 percent of the required fuel is imported by India.<br/>
